From the White Mountains of the Gulf of Maine, the ecological health of the Merrimack Watershed is vital to the diversity and abundance of the region’s native wildlife, the productivity of the Merrimack’s estuary, and the bounty of our marine fisheries.

RiverMerrimack’s mission is to promote a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of that ecology, the plants and animals sustained by these ecological processes, and the long term, vital role the watershed plays in the quality of our daily lives.
